Take your game to the next level with Hall Effect analog sticks to provide 3D Controller support for compatible titles on the SEGA Saturn® with the console receiver.

You can also take the controller to USB®-enabled consoles or devices to keep that familiar feel with your favorite games.

Utilize modern features such as four shoulder buttons.

Digital triggers offer a modern responsive feel and work with both Sega Saturn and other devices like PC.

The controller comes with dual rumble motors, this is compatible with titles that have this feature available when using the USB receiver.

The controller is not equipped with gyroscopes or any other motion controls.

You can use the 3D control on the Sega Saturn for games that support it, to enable it hold Start + B for 5 seconds, this will change to 3D Control mode. Note, that there are a limited amount of titles that utilize this feature.

This controller Utilizes Hall Effect analog sticks which offer improved performance over standard potentiometer-driven sticks, it also reduces the usual causes of stick drift. You should be able to experience proper ranges when playing on modern consoles or PC.

FAQ:

Q) Can I connect other Retro-Bit 2.4 GHz controllers to these receivers?

A) It will be on a case-by-case basis and the initial button layout may not be ideal, but this is definitely possible already with other V2 controllers. Unfortunately, the V2 receivers for Tribute64 are not compatible with the SEGA family of V2 controllers. We will explore further updates in the future.

Q) Can the sticks be used in Virtual On titles like the dual-stick accessory?

A) Currently, this feature is not available but we like the idea. This may be addressed in the future via a firmware update as we gather more feedback from users after its release.

Q) What is up with those Switch analogs and/or their placement?

A) Over the years, we have experimented with different analog sticks but their size, compatibility, and durability were liable to either damage the controller or force us to use different tooling that would essentially make it NOT a Saturn controller. With the advent of these new Hall Effect analogsticks, while similar to the Switch, they are more durable and less likely to fail.

Q) What is the USB receiver compatible with?

A) The Retro-Bit USB wireless receiver is compatible with PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch. Various USB-capable devices such as Android tablets and Raspberry Pis are also compatible. Users have also reported compatibility with MiSTer FPGA, various mini consoles, and controller converters such as those made by Brook.
