A rare and early piece of Gordon Russell design dating from 1955 and labelled as so to the rear of the piece. This a 2 part piece consisting of a glazed bookcase to the top and a leather inset drop front bureau to the bottom.

The piece is in relatively good condition with the odd blemish present across the doors and drawers. There is also some ink stains to the wood on the inside of the bureau. Other than that, there is nothing that detracts from its appearance.

The piece measures 190 cm high, 40 cm deep and 92 cm wide.
