The origins of Barnstormer trace back to 1977. At the height of the Ivy era, it was considered groundbreaking to produce fabrics with the same texture as those made in the U.S., sewn in factories capable of the same construction. The brand’s theme is to recreate the spirit of American life from that time through Japanese craftsmanship.

Light, supple, and warm through winter
The fabric is crafted from fine Super 120 worsted wool, brushed into a soft Saxony flannel. Unlike typical flannel, which blends worsted and carded yarns for a heavier feel, this version remains thin yet dense, offering excellent warmth.

A subtle sheen adds refinement, while the wool’s smooth texture minimizes itchiness, ensuring comfort against the skin. Wool naturally resists moisture and breathes well, keeping you comfortable indoors even in warm conditions.



The front body is lined with polyester to the knees, providing a smooth, comfortable feel.





Refined tailoring that elevates the look
The front features a simple zip fly. The waistband includes an extended tab, a detail often found in dress trousers, helping to create a neat appearance while improving fit and stability.

The inner waistband is reinforced with fabric, allowing shirts to glide smoothly when tucked in.



Hand pockets are located on both sides, with a discreet coin pocket incorporated inside the left pocket.



The back features slim double-welt pockets, with a button fastening only on the left side.





The curve—BARNSTORMER’s signature line
A signature curved design defines the silhouette. Volume at the sides is shifted to the front, with an S-curve running through the center. Additional curves are pressed into the back center seam, creating visible lines when folded and a clean, straight silhouette when worn.

The silhouette narrows gently toward the hem, creating a sleek, modern line. From dress shoes and tucked-in styling to casual pairings with knits and sneakers, these trousers move seamlessly across styles.
