HQ 3/38 Modern Gauge Adaptor with LED'S  (SPEEDO) (TACHO)

Update your tired gauges with new accurate modern gauges and use these adaptors to mount them into the factory postions in the existing HQ fascia support.

The housings have been dimensionally cloned from original VDO units, making them a direct screw-in replacement with no modification required. Perfect for restoring your current fascia or upgrade to a GTS one from rare spares and mount them with new modern gauges that will give you better accurate readings.

The Units come with the ability to house 14mm LED circular indictor lights in the top corners of each unit, one left and one right like the originals, the warning lights and high beam indicator LED's are seamlessly positioned in the below where the original warning lights went with the red cover.

Compatibility notes:

Accepts the Rare Spares red brake warning light plastic insert
Compatible with VDO-style clear lenses:
Smooth top
Smooth top & smooth bottom
Two side tabs at the top

Or leave the lense off all together for a fresh look.

Not compatible with Flexdrive lenses that use a single centre top tab
(A matching housing for these will be released later)

Recommended setup:
Use Rare Spares smooth-top Flexdrive lenses or standard smooth-top VDO lenses for correct fitment and finish.
