I have had this dress in the shop before and I was so pleased to find its twin. It is one of the best Oscar dresses in my opinion and definitely one of the prettiest. It is from his Miss O label that was a targeted towards a younger audience. I think that this might be one of the best pieces to ever come out of that label. It is absolutely gorgeous.

This is spectacular one shoulder chiffon dress by Oscar de la Renta. It is so utterly perfectly feminine and romantic and still feels as fresh now as it would have then. It is made out of a multi color striped crepe chiffon that flows and moved beautifully. The design that runs over it is amazing with bold abstract stripes that follow the bias cut of the chiffon. The pattern is applied onto the chiffon to apprear as if the various coloured stripes have been hand painted. The dress is almost weightless but the fabric choice gives it the volume that you see and it drapes over the body perfectly. The bodice is made from a double layer of the chiffon and it is gathered into a wide shoulder at one side. This leaves the other shoulder bare and exposed. The fabric is set so that it skims over you with a easy yet sexy feel. The waist is seamed and the dress comes with its original matching tie belt that lets you cinch it as much as you wish. The skirt falls under that to the floor and is made from many yards of fabric. It is light in weight so as you move it will billow and float around you. I love how the striped are set on the fabric so that they follow the angle of the bodice and on the skirt they softly curve downwards so there are no harsh lines or breaks. It is just stunning. Excellent condition
