Welcome to Thunder's Edge , a new expansion for Twilight Imperium 4th Edition . This colossal expansion brings the classic interstellar conflict to a head, all centered around the eponymous planet, Thunder's Edge. Six new factions enter the galactic stage and countless new worlds are introduced for players to explore and exploit. The addition of Galactic Events, which change the rules of the game mid-game, ensures that no two sessions are ever the same.

Besides expanding the base game , Thunder's Edge also includes a completely new game mode: Twilight's Fall . In this alternative game mode, players take on the role of a mad Mahact king and build their own faction from the remnants of interstellar civilization. They then battle for ultimate control of the universe. This mode introduces so many unique components and mechanics that it almost feels like a whole new game.

The expansion also includes 43 new planets, dozens of additional cards to deepen the gameplay experience, and all the standard components from the Twilight Codices , previously only available as print-and-play. Galactic Events create a unique dynamic with every play session, while the Twilight's Fall mode, with over 500 additional components, adds a whole new dimension to the game.
