BOTZ Stoneware Engobes

Liquid Stoneware Engobe glazes with excellent matte surface quality, 1180° to 1280°C.

BOTZ offer a variety of glazes suited for various purposes, they are very robust ready made glazes for brush on application. They have extensive history and a lot of R&D has been invested over the years to produce broad firing consistency, giving you repeatable results time and time again.

Features:

• Wonderfully stable in firing range 1180-1280°C | cone 4-9
• Can be mixed with other Edition colours | 9801 creates pastel shades when mixed
• Soft matt/earthy without glaze, good coverage and sharp contours
• If overglazed with transparent glaze (e.g. BOTZ 9300/9870) they become brightly coloured, glossy and - depending on the glaze - recommended for tableware
