I know from the seller that this very finely crocheted bag came out of an old estate in Pennsylvania, and though it is in near perfect condition, I am pretty certain it is 100 years old or so, and definitely it was all hand done. I think the colors and patterning  --as well as the shape of it, with pointy tip at the bottom--are just terrific, plus that pink border with tiny knots along the top. With a nice long drawstring, I believe original to it, too. Really a beautifully crafted thing.
