The Madam Sew Holiday Must Haves "Ho Ho Holiday" Cotton Thread Set consists of eight holiday thread colors. This is a limited release set so it is available only as long as supplies last. 

The thread is made of 100% long-staple, mercerized cotton. Which means you’ll get less lint and fuzz building up at your needle and therefore less thread breakage. Because it is cotton thread, it won’t be overly shiny and you’ll also be able to use it for any application where the end project will go in a microwave.

Looking for a thread that will add depth, texture, dimension and pop to your quilt top? Then this thread set is a must to try. The 50s/3 thread is made of three plies making it thicker than standard, 2-ply 50wt threads so it won’t melt into the background. Instead, your quilting will have an opportunity to shine and your project will be strong enough to hold up to repeated washing or wear.

Each set consists of eight small cross-wound thread spools of 180 yards each for a total of 1,440 yards of thread in the set. Please be aware that there may be a little variance from the actual colors based on your monitor or phone.

Instructions: Use a 90/14 - 100/16 universal needle. We tested this thread with the 90/14 universal sewing machine needle and it worked fine. It’s always best to test on a two piece swatch to see how it sews. If it doesn’t run through smoothly, switch up to a higher needle size.
