An adjustable length Alternator Linkage!

This adjustable linkage for tightening the fan belt and positioning your alternator will fit the 1964-1970 Mustang (possibly other years and models too) and it is designed to be adjustable so it will fit without the need of modifying your alternator location and fits stock mounting locations. The Adjustable Linkage bar is light weight aluminum and threaded at both ends to accept the right hand and left hand threads of the included rod ends.  The included fasteners are the same 3/8" bolts that already fit the car. 

Adjustable range: 6-1/8" to 7-5/8" (155mm to 194mm)

Your alternator must have the same type of threaded boss on the bottom (where it attaches to the factory slide adjustment bar for tightening the belt) as shown in the pictures here.  If your alternator has a different style threaded attachment point, the included "z" bracket will not fit correctly and this part will not work with your car.

What you get:  One custom aluminum throttle linkage bar, one custom "z" bracket, one each right and left hand rod ends with jam nuts, and two bolts (one coarse thread and one fine thread) to attach this linkage to your.  The fine thread bolt must only be used to attach the rod end to the "z" bracket, it will not thread into the boss on the water pump.
