Designed and engineered for the enthusiast, this conversion kit offers a complete, plug-and-play R134a upgrade allowing you to properly run A/C in your 24v swapped E28 without sacrificing the OEM look and feel. Using the E36 M3 Denso compressor and our Denso Compressor Manifold, this has been designed to work with the S50, S52, and S54 as well as the M50, M52, and M54 engine and comes complete with a new Denso compressor, CSF parallel flow condenser and SPAL fan, R134a expansion valve, and new R134a lines.

Which condenser and fan should I choose?
For a complete and proper conversion, we strongly recommend using our new high-performance CSF parallel flow condenser and SPAL fan combo for the most efficient A/C system. However, if you are planning to use your original condenser and fan, select the "None" option.

What if my E28 didn't come factory with A/C?
Our products are designed to support factory A/C models; however, they can be fitted into non-A/C applications, but you will need to obtain a factory HVAC wiring harness, both interior lines, evaporator, aluminum engine accessory bracket (to mount our compressor bracket), and factory interior HVAC box with sensors, control module, thermostat, etc.

Fitment notes:

• For the 528e (up to 09/84) and 533i, the late model condenser cover 51711929356 will be required to clear the CSF condenser.
• BMW compressor bracket 64551730768 will be required to support the Denso compressor.
• Compressors may or may not come prefilled with PAG oil (always check prior to install).
• Compressor part number and manufacturer may vary depending on availability.

This product requires no R&D, and is easily reversible using professionally engineered components, OEM-like hardware, and durable replacement parts resulting in a trouble-free installation that can be completed in 4-6 hours by a professional. It is designed to fit factory S50, S52, and S54 headers while providing ample clearance around the factory oil cooler lines and OEM brake ducting/undertray. Proper functionality of the evaporator, expansion valve, and HVAC sensors is required for a fully functional system.
