The new True Ames Ryan Lovelace Quad Fin Set is his take on an updated version of his Piggyback Quad that True Ames has been producing for quite some time now. This set is a bit more modern, with some small adjustments oriented towards squeezing a bit more performance out of the concept. The front fin is beautifully balanced for a quad, at roughly 4½ inches it has a gentle sweep to it and a more tapered tip section - while the rear fin is still somewhat stubby and upright (though larger than it's predecessor) allowing for a slightly skatey feeling that won't track. This set lends itself towards twin-fin lovers that want to mess around with a quad. Together this design generates speed, provides smooth rail transitions, and flows really will in small to slightly overhead surf. There's definitely a bit of additional spice in these quads, and may be the ticket to unlocking a new feeling a freedom for you.
