The lightweight aluminum air cleaner top and filter base kits are available in 14 in. or 16 in. diameters for compatibly with mounting flange carburetors and feature a drop base plate which drops the base of the air filter below the carb flange. The drop base plate design helps to maximize air filter height, while still clearing the hood in many custom hot rods, muscle cars, or race car applications. Both the aluminum lid and the filter base are left raw for a unique spun aluminum look and the top plate features K&N logos embossed along the outside edge.
