This is the Last Samurai Hand Made Full Tang Katana with Free Gift Box with Beautiful Silk inlay. The blade has been hand crafted and is fully functional. Inscribed into the steel of the blade is the Kanji "I belong to the warrior in whom the old ways have joined the new. The blade has been handmade with high carbon 1060 steel, hammered out so that the carbon is evenly distributed throughout the blade for a consistent hardness. A bloodline has been added to the top of the blade to decrease the weight of the blade and give audible feedback when swung. The blade also features a kissake, hamon, and comes with a thin edge already sharpened. At the base of the blade is the same kanji as seen as in the movie. The sword comes full tang. The Habakis are a one piece brass construction with two copper seppas. The actual Tsuba is blackened iron with a Pin Wheel design. The Tsuka is wrapped with a black cotton cord over a white ray skin Same. The tangs are secured by two bamboo Mekugis. The Menuki are copper dragons on each side of the handle. The Kashira is oxidized copper secured by the black cotton cord. The Sayas of the sword is constructed from hard wood with a high gloss black finish. The Koi-Guchi is bull horn. The Sage-o is a black cotton cord wrapped over the Kurigata. This sword also comes with a Free wooden sword stand.
