How The Service Works:

1. Purchase the Service: Start by purchasing this service on our page.
2. Pre-Paid Overnight Shipping: We provide a pre-paid overnight shipping return label for your convenience.
3. Prepare for Bootmod3: If you plan to use Bootmod3, create and activate your account (using the BM3 license activation code we send you) before removing your DME. It must be tied to your BM3 account and VIN.
4. Prepare for MHD: For MHD users, connect to the MHD app to perform an "unlock check" and ensure ROM support. If unsupported, MHD support can assist with updates.
5. FEMTO Unlocking: FEMTO will perform the unlock in 2-4 business days.
6. Return Shipping: We’ll ship your DME back via overnight and signed delivery service.
7. Tune Activation: If you selected a tune, we will provide the necessary tuning license for MHD or BM3 (1 map). We will provide the wifi adapter at a discount - just select it below.
8. Installation: Simply reinstall your DME and flash your preferred tune.
9. Disable OTA Updates: Make sure to turn off over-the-air updates to prevent accidental tune removal.
10. Enjoy Your tuned car!

BootMod3 Features

BootMod3 CustomROM includes advanced features such as map switching, flex fuel, and antilag. Check with us for eligibility details. This tune will come with ONE map. If you need a map pack ($99), please contact us for additional licensing.

Important Notes:

• The BM3 License and VIN must be activated before sending your DME. Without activation, the BM3 CustomROM cannot be loaded, and over-the-air (OTA) updates must be disabled in iDrive to prevent accidental tune removal.
• Disclaimer: Mashimarho is not responsible for any damage to your vehicle or lost/stolen DME. We ensure premium insurance coverage and will file claims to help cover costs for a new DME from BMW Seattle if needed. Always double-check that the correct VIN is provided to avoid registration issues.

DME Cloning Services

Contact us for availability on DME cloning. Users must provide their own DME for cloning alongside their current DME. Our cloning service includes a 1:1 copy of the original (excluding the OTP area), transfer of VIN, mileage, working hours, injection coding, and more.
