I absolutely fell in love with these edgy style shorts the moment I saw them AND they have pockets!  Pleats across the front help to hide any mommy tummies, mine included, slide button closure with zipper.

I'm in a large, I typically wear a 12/13 in Target jeans, 9 or 11 in Judy Blue.  These have a high waistline and hit me right at my belly button, I'm 5'10"...and they are still plenty long enough for me to feel comfortable without having to worry something is hanging out.

The black does fit looser than the Taupe color option.
