About Striped Dzi Beads:

Dzi Beads, originating from Tibet, are ancient beads known for their unique designs created by burning natural dyes onto agate stones, similar to Etched Carnelian Beads. These beads are believed to have been made between the 1st and 6th centuries AD. Despite their age, the exact composition of the dyes used in the burning process remains a mystery. Primarily discovered in Tibet, these beads are also found in regions like Bhutan and Ladakh in the Himalayas.
