Stand out from the crowd, in this vivid silk secretary's shirt by Francesca of Damon for Starrington!

The Damon Creations label was founded in 1942 by David Rappaport, and Francesca for Damon was actually designed by David's wife, Francesca! Over the years I've seen many wonderful silk pieces under this label, and they are always of high quality materials and craftsmanship, and this example is no less.

A stunningly vivid example of houndstooth, this print is classically used in a finer size, but as this was the 80's, everything was oversized! Made of a fine, lightweight silk jacquard (very easy to care for: with special silk wash and drip dry, simply steam and its ready to go) in teal blue, black and fuchsia pink. The overall design is simplistic, with regular collar, cuffed full length sleeves, two oversized patch pockets at chest, and self-covered button front. The overall condition is excellent, with only one minor flaw: a very pale yellow spot at left armpit. Please see photographs for full details.
