These five Ercol Model 400 dining chairs are iconic mid-century modern pieces, featuring the classic hoop-back with four spindles, sculpted elm seats, and beech frames—designed by Lucian Ercolani in the late 1950s.

The chairs show wear to the seat pads, including some marks, along with scuffs and signs of use on the hoop backs—consistent with their age yet typical of well-loved vintage furniture. One final thing to mention is one back has slightly come away from the seat pad as photographed, however, there is no play to the back.

Each chair measures 86 cm in back height, 40 cm wide, 43cm deep, with a seat height of 44 cm.
