Founded in Leicester, England in 1936, Gymphlex began by producing training shorts for the British military. By the mid-1900s, the brand’s items were adopted as gym wear in schools, spreading widely across the UK. Gymphlex became deeply rooted in British culture, supplying uniforms for the national rugby team, the polo club once affiliated with Prince Charles, and prestigious prep schools such as ETON and HARROW. Today, it remains a highly popular brand in the UK.

Made from a cotton (73%) and nylon (27%) blended fabric, the surface is peach-brushed to create a soft, slightly fuzzy hand feel with natural loft. Finished with a special bio-wash treatment, the fabric develops a character reminiscent of vintage shirts.
